Pneumatic valve is an executive unit in the industrial automation field's control system. It is composed of a pneumatic actuator and a valve, and then the actuator is driven by air source pressure to control the operation of the valve. This chapter mainly describes the commonly used angular stroke switch pneumatic valve.
Composition of pneumatic valve
It is mainly composed of two main parts: pneumatic actuator and valve. Of course, depending on operating conditions and user needs, different accessories can be selected to achieve different functions, such as electromagnetic valve, air source triplet, feedback device, and electrical positioner.
Classification of pneumatic actuators
There are two types of rotation modes: straight stroke and angular stroke; From the structure, it can be divided into: piston type, diaphragm type, plunger type, vane type, etc; From the functional perspective, it can be divided into single acting, double acting, and three position forms.
Main types of pneumatic valves:
Pneumatic V-shaped regulating ball valve is an advanced control valve with a right angle rotary structure, which is used together with a valve positioner to achieve proportional adjustment; It can be used together with a two-position five-way solenoid valve and control box to achieve on-off control. The valve core of the pneumatic V-shaped ball valve is designed with a special shaped V-shaped notch, which has precise physical properties and control functions. It is suitable for various control situations, and has the advantages of compact structure, small size, and tight horizontal installation. Pneumatic V-type regulating ball valve is suitable for the control of gaseous, liquid, and solid granular media. Due to the gapless rotation between the valve core and valve seat, it has great shear force and self-cleaning performance, especially suitable for the control of suspensions and solid particles containing fibrous or micro solid particles. Therefore, the pneumatic V-type ball valve can be widely used in automatic control systems in industrial departments such as petroleum, chemical industry, papermaking, chemical fiber, electric power, metallurgy, pharmaceutical, environmental protection, etc.
2. Pneumatic O-type cutoff ball valve consists of ARSOTA Asta pneumatic piston actuator and O-type ball valve, including soft seal ball valve and hard seal ball valve. The valve core adopts a cylindrical through-hole ball. The pneumatic O-type cut-off ball valve uses compressed air as the power source and receives switching signals such as Distributed Control System (DCS) and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC). Through the solenoid valve, rapid position control of the valve can be achieved. The pneumatic O-type cutoff ball valve adopts a straight through cast valve body, and the spherical surface is processed and hardened by special processes to make its surface smooth and wear-resistant. It has characteristics such as long service life, compact structure, reliable action, large flow capacity, small flow resistance coefficient, convenient installation, and good cutoff performance. Pneumatic O-type cut-off ball valves are widely used in industries such as paper making, petrochemical, metallurgy, aerospace, food, medicine, water treatment, etc., especially for process control with high viscosity and fiber containing media. Pneumatic piston actuators can be divided into two types: single acting and double acting. Double acting is used when the valve is in the position during power or gas loss to ensure continued production. When a single action occurs during power or gas loss, the valve is in its original limit position (fully open or fully closed) to ensure that the production process is in a safe position.
ZJHM pneumatic membrane sleeve regulating valves are widely used due to their good stability and simple maintenance. They can be designed to eliminate most of the static unbalanced forces on the valve disc in a balanced manner, and have a certain damping effect, which can reduce vibration caused by fluid flow. 5. Pilot piston type pressure reducing valve. It consists of a main valve and a pilot valve. The main valve is mainly composed of valve seats, main valve discs, pistons, springs, and other components. The pilot valve mainly consists of valve seats, valve discs, diaphragms, springs, adjusting springs, and other components. The outlet pressure is set by adjusting the spring pressure, the diaphragm is used to sense the change in outlet pressure, and the pilot valve is opened and closed to drive the piston to adjust the size of the flow area at the throttle position of the main valve, achieving the pressure reducing and stabilizing function. YK43X/F/Y type pilot piston gas pressure reducing valve is mainly used in gas pipelines, such as air, nitrogen, oxygen, hydrogen, liquefied gas, natural gas, and other gases.
