High platform ball valve and flange gate valve belong to the same type of valve, with the difference that its closing member is a ball, which rotates around the center line of the valve body to achieve opening and closing. Ball valves are mainly used in pipelines to cut off, distribute, and change the flow direction of media.
High platform ball valves are actually ordinary ball valves with high platforms pre installed during design and manufacturing. Therefore, according to different classifications of ball valves, high platform ball valves can be divided into many types. Of course, due to the limitations of the installation platform, not all ball valve types can be one-to-one corresponding to high platform ball valves.
It is common to distinguish according to standards, such as American elevation platform ball valve, Japanese elevation platform ball valve, and national standard high level billiard ball valve.
According to the connection method, the current flow direction of high level ball valves on the market includes high platform flange ball valves and high platform threaded ball valves. As for the connection method of welding and clamping, due to the limitations of high platforms, the process is relatively cumbersome, so there is less circulation in the market.
There is also a less common method of distinguishing between high platform ball valves by structure. Currently, three piece high platform ball valves and three barrel high platform ball valves are widely used. Due to the fact that the difference between the two types of high platform ball valves is not very large, many users do not care about the distinction between the two when purchasing them, so classification is relatively rare.
